Waterlilies are beautiful, proud, tall, and elegant. They emerge from a long stem and open into the flower. They then reverse the circle and slowly sink back underwater. In the painting design process, the challenge is to have shapes around the lily to support them. The perfect way is to observe the reflections and shadows, to see the patterns being made on water.
